Coptic Names of the Godforms

I’ve done a fair amount of work on researching the historically-attested Coptic names of the godforms listed in the Z.1 “Enterer of the Threshold” document in Regardie’s The Golden Dawn. You can find my paper “Coptic Names in the Golden Dawn”, which was published pseudonymously in the Summer Solstice 2016 edition of The Hermetic Tablet, here. It is painfully obvious to anyone who has studied even a smattering of Coptic that the names of the godforms used in the original Golden Dawn were hopelessly corrupt, at least as they were handed down to Regardie. I have elected not to provide any attempts at pronunciation for Regardie’s renderings as a result, in cases where there is recourse to scholarly sources. Where I have presented renderings that are not a direct result of my own research, I have cited them below. All of the pronunciations given here are informed by Worrell’s Coptic Sounds, and where there are multiple dialectical spellings of a given name I have preferred the Sahidic dialect. I was able to find no Coptic source for these names other than Regardie; as such, this is the correct pronunciation of the spellings he provides in The Golden Dawn.
